A Turning In Process Workpiece (IPW) shows stock on a face that has already been finished. What can be done to update this IPW so that subsequent tool paths will show the correct cut region thereby not re-cutting a finished face?
Solution
Select all the Turning operations in the program group and do an 'MB3 -> Tool Path -> Delete' to delete the internal paths. Select the operations again and do an 'MB3 -> Generate'. Deleting the internal tool paths and then regenerating them will cause NX to re-calculate the tool paths and can, under some circumstances, refresh the IPW. Please note that deleting the Tool Path does not delete the Operation.
