I am trying to read the TEMPF file, but the file is now a binary file. It is 

no longer in an ASCII, human readable, format. How can I access this data now? 

Solution

You can use the TMG executive menu to convert binary files to ascii. From the 

solution directory run the ...\nx\12.0\NXCAE_EXTRAS\tmg\com\tmgnx.cmd program 

and give the AS command. That will convert the TEMPF, MODLF, and  VUFF 

files to ascii format.
