Summary

Details

The customer has a sketch on a sheetmetal file that uses imported data containing some complex curves to represent a logo.

When they create a draft view of this model, part of the curves are missing.

Solution

The missing edge is not part of the underlying Parasolid data generated for the sketch.  The edge in question comes from a relatively complex b-spline curve in the imported data that is causing problems when converting to Parasolid.

This can be worked around using 2 methods: 1) use the "clean sketch" command in the sketch (either on all the geometry or just the single problem b-spline), or 2) Right click and choose "simplify" with a .01mm tolerance to produce a simpler curve.  Another possibility in this case might be to re-draw the curve as an arc, as this will be the most reliable geometry.
