Details
By defaults while using the "Import Assembly into Teamcenter" utility, default Setting for Item Type is selected as "Item" and we need to manually select the custom Item type or any other Item type from drop down. However if you want any other Item type to be selected as default, then kindly follow below process.
Solution
- Go to File > Utilities > Customer Defaults > Teamcenter Integration > Import/Export Assembly > Import Tab > under "Item Type" type the real Name of the customer Item type or any other Item type which you want to be available as Default under the "Import Assembly into Teamcenter" utility.
- Now restart NX.
