Solid Edge Search is not working after Indexing folders

Running Built-in Data Management and despite having indexed the files, the
various search functions are not working.


Solution

Make sure the Indexing was not interrupted by another service. For example,
it has been reported that a customer ran a virus scanner on the server and
this stopped the indexing process before it completed. Re-running the
indexing solved the issue.
