When constructing a shop documentation template, the length of drill tools is not being calculated with the (SL) Shank Length added to the (L) Length on the tool.
Does a MOM variable exist for the (SL) Shank Length that could be added to the Length to calculate the correct full tool length?
Solution
These variables are available for use:
mom_tool_length : stores the (L) tool length
mom_tool_tapered_shank_length : stores the (SL) shank length
mom_tool_extension_length : sum of mom_tool_length+mom_tool_tapered_shank_length
With mom_tool_extension_length available, there is no need to have the shop doc template perform any math computations. Simply output this variable for the total tool length.
