Details
With NX10, the user cannot draw any Sketch Curves in the Expanded view and when using Studio Splines,
they're not selectable for the "Break Out Section" view.
Solution
For the creation of a "Break Out Section" view in NX10
- Right-click the view you want to make the Break Out Section view
and select "Active Sketch View"
- Use the Sketch Curve commands to create curves representing the boundary
of the Break Out Section
- Break Out Section
* Make sure "Create" is selected
* Select the view where you've drawn the curves
* Select a base point
* Select the vector
* Select the curves
* Apply/O.K.
