Can the Glow be turned off when parts are hovered over?

Solution

Yes, you can use Fast Box Locate instead, which highlights the part envelope instead of all the faces.  Here's how: 

1. Navigate to Solid Edge and select Options.
2. Select Assembly, then select Fast locate using box display for parts
3. Click Apply.
