We replaced our license server and got a new license file.
If the firewall is down, it works, and clients can connect. If the firewall is up, clients cannot connect.
We checked to be sure port 28000 was open, but that does not solve the problem.
Solution When the license server is restarted a random TCP port is used for ugslmd. But
you can make it use the same one each time by using an option in the license
file. Go to your license file and at the end of the Vendor line add this:
The number can be anything that is accessible on your network and when
implemented it looks like this:
VENDOR ugslmd PORT=######
