Creating a Section View results in Solid Edge not responding for a very long time before the view is created.
Solution
Before creating the section view, set following option:
In "Solid Edge Options" -> "Drawing Standards", set "Hatch Ribs in Section Views" to "Hatch".
This will shorten the creation of the section view to just a few seconds.
