Details
When attempting to rename a wire in the Wire Harness environment the F2 key
does not work. Not a problem in the Assembly environment.
Solution
The F2 is assigned to 'rename' only in Assembly. To add this to the Wire
Harness environment:
- close out of Wire Harness
- select Customize
- click the Keyboard tab
- select 'Choose commands from: All Keyboard Assignments
- scroll down and find Rename in the list
- in the Usage column change it to "Use in all environments"
If you do not want to use it in all environments, you can enter the Wire
Harness environment and customize the Keyboard for the specified environment.
After assigning the F2 key you will need to save the changes as a new theme.
