Solid Edge FrameComponentsUtility throws "This utility is not supported. Please use 'Frame Origin' Command." message

Starting with ST10 MP2, the FrameComponentsUtility .exe utility is presenting a "This utility is not supported. Please use 'Frame Origin' Command." error message when run.

Solution

The FrameComponentsUtility.exe is deprecated with ST10.  

This FrameComponentsUtility.exe was originally a VB6 32-bit utility.  Solid Edge ST10 is now only 64-bit so this macro will no longer run with ST10.
 
Because this utility no longer runs in ST10, starting with ST10 MP2 we introduced a new error message when running this utility:
 
"This utility is not supported. Please use 'Frame Origin' Command."
 
This error message explicitly tells you that the tool is not supported and that you should use the "Frame Origin" command in place of using this utility.
 
In future releases this FrameComponentsUtility.exe will be removed.
