Details

I have a single node in a group. NX shows the group name in red and has the

text "no displayable entities in group" in the staus window. What does this

message mean?

Solution

In versions prior to NX 11, NX could not display nodes independently of

elements. If a group containing a single node was displayed, then that node as

well as all of the attached elements would be displayed. Starting with NX 11,

there is a switch that allows for the display of a single element. This is

available via the menu - preferences --> model display --> node --> "show and hide

nodes independently" switch. This allows nodes to be displayed directly.

See the following articles in the NX help for a discussion of this in more

detail.
