Solid Edge Is it possible to automatically inherit the properties from a part to the associated draft file?

The user defined some properties within a part file, e. g. Title, Subject, Project Name, Document Number and so on. After creating an associated draft file the above question arose because the Property Manager showed the previously saved properties related to the part file but empty fields in case of the draft file.

The user would like to inherit the already entered values from the part (also applicable for an assembly, a sheet metal part, etc.) to the draft file to save time and to avoid typing errors.

Solution

Currently there is no way to fulfill this task but there is already an existing master ER that requests an option to automatically copy these properties from the part to the draft file.
