How to save to JT from Teamcenter of an SE Assembly? Can do this with a part file, but not an assembly.
Solution
This is correct behavior as we only create JT files of part, sheet metal and weldment files, but not assemblies. The fundamental purpose of creating JT's is to support the TC based visualization application, typically used via the TC RAC. TC VIS integration in the RAC handles the assembly view by layering all the piece part JT's. This is done in the Product Structure Editor (BOM) view.
