What is Siemens PLM's approach for Evergreen Support for Windows 10, this being one of the new updates which will come for Windows 10?
Example:
Let's say Siemens certifies NX 11.0.3 against Windows 10 Build 1607. Will Siemens PLM recertify NX 11.0.3 against let's say Windows 10 Build 1703?
Solution
Typically in the past we certify a new release of an OS if it makes business sense. We certified Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 as well as the original release of Windows 10. There are currently 4 major Windows 10 releases, but only the last 2, Anniversary Edition and the Creators Edition, are supported by Microsoft. In-house we currently have developers working on Windows 7, Windows 10 Anniversary Edition and Windows 10 Creators Edition (small number of machines).
