When working with gage table material properties defined in Excel, there are noticeable performance issues when interacting with the gage tables e.g. slow to open the material properties, selecting Apply, etc.
Solution
This reduced performance when interacting with gage tables that are defined in Excel is occurring because the customer has stored the Excel Gagetable.xlsx file on a network share.
As soon as the Gagetable.xlsx is stored locally the performance interaction issues then no longer exist.
