Get visible lightweight bodies in the modeling workspace. These lightweight
bodies are representations of solid bodies in the part file.
If the lightweight bodies are deleted and the part file saved, the lightweight
bodies will re-occur in the next session.
Why does these bodies occur and how to get rid of them?
Solution
The reason these lightweight bodies is generated is that the solid bodies they
represents reside on layer 190.
Layer 190 is used by NX for the Product Outline functionality in a standard
installation.
The issue can be solved in 2 different ways:
- Change the customer default layer for Product Outline. Assemblies -> Site
Standards, Miscellaneous tab, Product Outlines group, there is the "Layer"
parameter which controls the layer used for product outline.
OR
- Move the solid bodies in the model part file to a different layer than 190
