Plotting was working in NX but now File --> Plot fails and displays the following error:

SDI Environment not setup.
Solution
Check for the "UGII_SDI_SERVER_CFG_DIR" system environment variable.
This variable points to the location of the "NX Printer Group", i.e. the configuration files for NX plotting,
which could be on the local computer (e.g. C:\NX Printers) or on a shared network folder (e.g.
H:\Common\NX_Printers).
The error occurs when NX is unable to locate or access the Printer Group directory containing the
definition files for NX plot queues. If the UGII_SDI_SERVER_CFG_DIR variable is set to a non-existent or
incorrect location or the permissions on the network share get changed such that users no longer have
rights, this could cause the error.
In NX 12.0, the plotting error message will be improved to give a better explanation of the problem.

Resolution:
Siemens PLM believes that the problem you reported where the SDI environment does not provide
explanatory message, will be resolved by code changes made to the release of our product NX version
12.0.
