What variable needs to be set to redirect NX to write to?

Solution

There is not a single variable to change the user home directory that NX writes to.  Following are some variables that can be used:

UGII_LOCAL_USER_DEFAULTS = <path>
You can set the variable to point to any file with the extension .dpv, if the file does not exist the system will create one. This file will only contain your customizations, NOT all of the defaults.

UGII_DRAFTING_STANDARD_DIR = <path>
Points to the drafting_standards directory where the .dpv standards files are stored.

UGII_LOCAL_USER_DRAFTING_STANDARD_DIR = <path>
Points to a local directory where customized standards files are stored.

UGII_USER_DIR = <path>
Set this to the directory containing Startup and Application directories when using customized toolbars (tbr), menus (men) and registry workspace (rws) files and any files associated with them (macro, bmp, etc).

UGII_USER_PROFILE_DIR = <path>
The variable UGII_USER_PROFILE_DIR will allow users to read and write to a user.mtx file placed in the location pointed to by this variable.
