Solid Edge Open Viewer without PackageList, Navigation, and Project panes enabled

How to open the Solid Edge Viewer without the PackageList, Navigation, and Project panes enabled by default?  The user can manually close these panes but the next time the Viewer is started the panes are once again enabled.

Solution

You can control the display of these panes permanently by modifying the ImplementedCategories.ini file.

1. In a text editor open "C:\Program Files\Solid Edge ST9\Program\win32\PLMVis\Products\JT2Go\ImplementedCategories.ini"
2. For the PackageList, delete the line containing the string SessionPackage.dll={3DC164CF-23FE-11D7-80C0-00108379627C}
3. For the Navigation, delete the line containing the string Navigator.dll={194C1B67-2DE1-11D1-B21B-006097BAA642}
4. For the Project, delete the line containing the string WorkspaceManager.dll={EAC9A7CF-5405-11D7-B1BF-00105AA84C78}
5. Save the ini file
6. Restart the Viewer

The desired removed panes are no longer displayed on the Viewer start up.
