Which registry keys are saved off by the Settings & Preferences Wizard?
Solution
The Settings & Preferences Wizard does *
not* explicitly save off selected Solid Edge registry keys.
All the Settings & Preferences Wizard does is save off the Solid Edge user registry keys and everything underneath these locations i.e.
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Unigraphics Solutions\Solid Edge\Version 110
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Unigraphics Solutions\Standard Parts\Version 110
When using the Settings & Preferences Wizard we have built in some intelligence to try to avoid restoring data that contains user folder specific names i.e. %APPDATA%. Other than %APPDATA% references, *
all* Solid Edge user settings in the registry will be captured and restored.
