Solid Edge Broken-Out Section View does not change as expected

The customer has problem with editing existing Broken-Out section. When changing the depth of the cutout the Broken-Out view is displayed incorrectly.

The user tries to to edit the depth of that the Broken out section:


But when updating the View , the portion of material inside the broken out section will disappear:

Solution

The Broken out section view itself has a defined display depth at the same point as the depth being specified for the Broken out section, so it appears to cut all the way through. Remove or adjust the display depth using the view's context menu to get the desired result.


It is necessary to select the view and MB3 select the option "Set drawing view depth":



Then remove the current depth setting  the value as "0" . When updating the the view the result will be correct:
