Details
The Solid Edge Subscription and 45 Day Trial downloader appears to work but then disappears without installing software. Getting problem with the internet connection message, however the Internet connection is working fine.
Solution
To resolved this issue:
- Check your C: drive for a folder called "SEWebinstall".
- In that folder look for a "Solid_Edge_Web_Package_English_ST9.7z" file, this file is a "ZIP" file.
- Once this file has been located unbundle it, there should now be a Solid Edge folder in there. Select the "setup.exe" file in that folder to install Solid edge.
- Once installed you will need to use your activation code to start Solid Edge.
