Solid Edge Printing a draft file results in a black background on the paper

Printing a draft file results in a black background on the paper print.  How to resolve this?

Solution

Review the printer driver being used for the Printer settings.

If using a PCL printer driver switch to a PS printer driver.

If using a PS printer driver switch to a PCL printer driver.

Typically, changing the underlying printer driver will provide better, more expected results.
