Rendering an image in KeyShot provided with Solid Edge results in a watermark being overlaid onto the rendered image.  How to remove this watermark?

Solution

If you have at least Solid Edge Classic or Premium then KeyShot is included.

However, you must start KeyShot from within Solid Edge and not from the KeyShot desktop icon to avoid watermarks on the rendered images.

If you start KeyShot from the desktop icon, this only starts a demo version of KeyShot resulting in watermarks being overlaid onto the rendered images.

Open a Solid Edge part, sheet metal or assembly file, and starting KeyShot from the Tools tab will then start KeyShot for Solid Edge.  This will start KeyShot such that the rendered images are *not* watermarked.
