Solid Edge Automating KeyShot with Solid Edge APIs

Is it possible to automate the KeyShot application provided with Solid Edge using Solid Edge APIs?

Solution

As KeyShot is a third-party application, you cannot automate it the same way that you would with Solid Edge.
 
Actually, only KeyShot 6, which is delivered with ST10 supports automation. This KeyShot automation process only supports scripting through Python 3.4.
 
If trying to automate Solid Edge and KeyShot, you would probably create your documents in Solid Edge using Solid Edge APIs and then call KeyShot from a command line with the Python script to automate the rendering.
