How do you update an older Holes table database from Solid Edge ST6 to Solid Edge ST10?
Solution
When updating legacy hole databases (for example a Holes.txt or Threads.txt) database, we provide a holes database converter. These two legacy databases are written to a new hole database file and are located in the ../Program Files/Solid Edge ST10/Preferences/Holes folder. Solid Edge only recognizes the hole databases that are contained in this folder. You can find the Converter utility at the following location:
. . . /Program Files/Solid Edge ST10/Custom/HoleDatabaseConverter/bin/Hole Database Converter.exe.
