How to determine how many nodes lie on a polygon edge?
Solution
In the context of either a '.fem' file or a '.sim' file, within the 'simulation navigator' select the item 'groups', then:
* rhmb (mb3), new group
* set 'method = related nodes'
* set 'selection filter = polygon edge'
* select the polygon edge(s) of interest
The nodes related to the chosen polygon edge(s) will be selected and highlighted on the screen - the number of selected nodes will be displayed in the 'select object' portion of the 'new group' form
