Solution
These customer defaults are removed and replaced by these Teamcenter preferences
to set the default naming pattern for the UGPART and UGALTREP datasets:
- TC_NX_UGPART_create_pattern
- set to: ${ItemID}-${RevisionID}-dwg{1:1}
- TC_NX_UGALTREP_create_pattern
- set to: ${ItemID}-${RevisionID}-alt{1:1}
The 1:1 is incremental numbering for the version. The first 1 is the start number. The second 1 is the number of digits to display with zeros in front as needed. For example, 3 would display as 001.
These preferences provide a default naming pattern only; you can ignore the default naming pattern and manually enter any value for the dataset name.
