Details
Upgrading the Solid Edge SP Server was returning the following error message when selecting to close the install dialog and start the Configure Solid Edge SP Server: "There is a problem with the Solid Edge SP Server installation and the Solid Edge SP web solutions were not deployed correctly. Make sure the Sharepoint Timer service is running and then re-install Solid Edge SP Server."
Solution
When upgrading an existing installation, you need to use the same login last used to install and configure Solid Edge SP server.
