Details
After associating items with a Teamcenter project, the users that have been defined to have access to items in the project are unable to open Solid Edge assemblies. The attempt to open the Solid Edge assembly returns the following error message: "Path not found. Make sure the path is correct and there is not invalid characters in the file name." Other Teamcenter users without group restrictions have no problem opening the assemblies.
Solution
This problem can occur if they have only added the BOM view, under the item revision, to the project. You need to add the BOM view for the item itself to give access for these users with the restrictions.
