When working with the "Use Solid Edge data management" option enabled in Solid Edge options, if I try to revise a Solid Edge file by editing the revision number in the Project tab of file properties - the file is not properly revised. Why?
Solution
You can only modify the revision number in the file properties when working outside of Built-in Data Management. Otherwise, you must revise in the Solid Edge Data management tab, or within the Design Manager tool. Then the revision is correctly updated, and a command such as "Get latest" - which allows you to find and replace latest revisions - will work accordingly.
