When generating PDF files for use by a graphics publishing vendor, the generated PDF images are of too low a resolution and poor quality for use in publishing. How can generated images be improved for use by graphics publishing vendors?
Solution Typically a graphics publishing company will ask for Encapsulated PostScript (.eps) files as there is no loss of data (either resolution or quality) and the .eps files can be easily manipulated in any high end graphics editing suite.
Generating .eps files from Solid Edge is extremely easy. From Solid Edge simply print to the "Solid Edge Velocity PS Printer 2.0" printer and the .eps file will be generated.
