In earlier NX, datum plane is created in model history when starting [Sketch in Task Environment] by "Create Plane".
However in NX 11, datum plane is not created in model history even when starting [Sketch in Task Environment] by "New Plane".
The sketch feature is internally managing the datum plane.
Is this working as designed?

Solution
This is working as designed.
The enhancement was done for sketch creation in NX11 to consolidate and simplify the steps to create sketch. The datum will be internal to sketch. So no datum feature will be created in Part Navigator.
