What is hosted and standalone Active Workspace?
Solution
Hosted active workspace describes the experience where Solid Edge includes an
EdgeBar pane that renders the Active Workspace client. Effectively, we have an embedded
browser control that we use to render Active Workspace.
Standalone describes an experience where you open a web browser and type the
Active Workspace URL.
So hosted means it is in the CAD system and standalone means you opened a web
browser.
