You get a message like "The gage parameters are not found in the current gage
table. Edit the gage table file to restore the missing values. The current
values will be maintained until Gage Table is restored." or "Numeric input is
required for Material Thickness, Bend Radius, Relief Depth and Relief Width.
Edit the values in the Excel file to correct."
Solution
At the moment you define your own gage table on the file location tab, the
syntax and the content is not checked. Solid Edge checks format and content of
the gage table as soon as you click 'Apply to model' on the gage properties tab
in the material table menu.
As Solid Edge checks the complete file independent from the selected gage, make
sure to have sensible values everywhere in the file, also in gages you
currently don't use. Check if 'Material Thickness' and 'Bend Radius' is larger
than zero, check if the 'Neutral Factor' is between 0 and 1 etc. and make sure
to have all needed rows defined for all gages.
If you are in the process of editing your own gage table and you want to check
syntax and content, you need to delete unfinished gage entries from the table
before testing and insert them at a later time.
Note:
There is an example gage table delivered with Solid Edge at
...\Program Files\Solid Edge ST9\Preferences\Gagetable.xls.
