How do you change the author of an active Solid Edge part file?
Solution
From the Property Manager, you can change the author of the working Solid Edge part document.
Enables you to modify existing properties or create new properties for one or more Solid Edge documents. You can use Property Manager to edit the properties for the active document, a group of documents you define, or all the documents used in an assembly or assembly drawing.
When the active document is a part or sheet metal document, the Property Manager displays the document properties for the active document only. You can view, add, and edit the document properties.
Steps to edit properties with an active document in Solid Edge as follows.
1. Choose Application menu → Properties → Property Manager.
2. On the Property Manager Dialog box, edit a property value. The new value becomes underlined to indicate that you have modified the value.
3. On the Property Manager Dialog box, click the OK button.
4. On the File menu, click Save to save the changes to the document.
