Doing a simple "Copy/Paste" from the Variable Table into an Excel Sheet will
not link the cells, but will copy the value instead.
Solution
The user has to copy/paste the link:
1. In the Solid Edge Variable Table, select the line containing the variable.
2. RMB -> "Copy Link"
3. In Excel select the cell where the value/link should be inserted
4. RMB -> "Paste Special"
5. Use the option "Paste link", "OK"
