Solid Edge Unable to create a new Solid Edge file in the SEEC environment

Details

When attempting to create a new Solid Edge file to be uploaded to Teamcenter, the user is being returned the following error message: “"Teamcenter returned 000000008004A061 which SEEC does not recognize as a known error. Review the log file for further information"”, and the Solid Edge template files are not being 
downloaded to the Solid Edge client.



Solution

This problem can occur if there are multiple folders named “Solid Edge Templates” in Teamcenter. In most cases the folders have been Cut (using Microsoft Ctrl-X, for example) in Teamcenter.  Even though the folders are not seen in the Teamcenter interface, they still exist in the volume.
