Summary

Details

When modelling Solid Edge Synchronous holes, these holes are put into feature
groups. Each time the hole feature is used, a new feature group is created
regardless of the fact that the hole dimension and plane is the same. Each
group is handled as a pattern when using the part in an assembly.

There is a need to re-order the holes into one group, so that all these holes
can be used as a pattern in an assembly.

Solution

The following workaround will result in a single group for all holes:

1. Select all (identical) holes you want to put into one feature
2. RMB -> "Break". This will turn all holes into a new face set.
3. "Recognize Holes". All holes will be listed as one feature (and can be
modified if needed)
4. "OK"
