Cannot add user to license with named user.
Should accept 3 users. Will only accept 2 users.
Solution
First:
The license purchased has to support the number of users you are trying to support. In this case, it will say 3 USER_BASED in the INCREMENT field.
Second:
Named User licenses require a file called an option file. Named "ugslmd.opt".
This file expects the names of the users to be in a certain syntax. The syntax should look something like this:
GROUP tx_users name1 name2 name3
Third:
There should be only one space between the names and NO spaces or other characters after the last name.
If it looks correct, delete the names and retype making sure there are no spaces or other characters at the end.
Fourth:
Save the option file.
Stop and restart the SPLM license server software.
