Customer needs to change the IP address on the SPLM license server. The
hostname and mac address will remain the same, but the /IP address will
change. Will the composite id (CID) change?
Solution
1) 99.9% certainty an IP address change will have no effect since /IP address
is abstraction from hostname contained in license file.
2) .1% uncertainty in that GTAC is not privy to all the elements used to
construct a composite ID (CID). (Information is classified as SIEMENS secret)
Our current belief is that composite is based only on server host h/w elements
not software elements such as the /ip address.
