Some parts opened in the standalone viewer do not display graphics whereas in a
viewer installed with Solid Edge those parts display as expected. Why?
Solution
To view Solid Edge files with the standalone viewer, the part files must
contain a Solid Edge display cache. The 'missing' files were most probably
saved with the option 'Store geometry in part file for fast open' disabled.
To resolve the issue, these files will have to be opened in Solid Edge and
saved with this option enabled. This option is located in the Solid Edge
Options on the General tab - 'Store geometry in Part file for fast open'.
