I have a Synchronous sheet metal part with a Cutout that cuts through a tab and
an adjacent flange. When I try to pattern the cutout using 'Pattern along
curve' and selecting the edge of the bend between the tab and the flange as the
curve, the operation fails with the message 'Errors detected no patterns were
created'. Why is this?
Solution
It is currently it is not possible for patterns to cut bends in a Synchronous
sheet metal part.
The workaround is to create the Cutout in Ordered mode and then pattern the
feature there.
