Trying to create a selectable list of Author names for the Author property on the Solid Edge file properties by defining an entry in propseed.txt file. However this is not working. Why?
Solution
The Author property is a Solid Edge system property that is tied to the Windows profile user id. Therefore this value cannot be changed. Because the value is tied to the system and cannot be changed, then creating a propseed.txt file to change this system property value will not work.
