After adding a True Type font to the Windows font folder, the font is not listed as a selectable option in the various Solid Edge dialogs using fonts. Why?
Solution
Solid Edge requires True Type fonts to be marked "Installable". If the font is marked as anything else e.g. "Editable", Solid Edge will not be able to use the font.
If you require using a specific font with Solid Edge that is currently not marked as "Installable", you will need to contact the author of the font and request the font be marked as "Installable" - typically this requires purchasing of the font.
