You can define a preference to set the default location for user template files but how do you set the default location for the global or standard template files?
Solution
You can set the default location of the global or standard template files by changing the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Unigraphics Solutions\Solid Edge\Version 110\TemplatePath
By default, this key value is set to "<Solid Edge install folder>\Template" e.g. "C:\Program Files\Solid Edge ST10\Template".
You can change this location to be either a local folder, mapped drive folder, or UNC folder location.
