If I have a Synchronous part and go to the View tab, I see that 'Section' is
not available - yet in Ordered mode it is. Why is this?
Solution
If you are working in Synchronous mode, you must have one or more sketch
elements available to use as your cutting plane shape before you can select the
Section command.
You will find information about this in the Solid Edge Help under 'Create a 3D
Section view (Synchronous environment)'.
