1) I installed Siemens PLM Documentation Server to the path c:\Siemens\docserver. I changed default port to 8183 (because default port 8181 is in conflict with 3Dconnexion Navigation Library server). NX help is up and running, with searching as well.
2) In NX --> Customer Defaults, I changed Index Search Server from default
http://localhost:8181/solr/NXReuse to the http://localhost:8183/solr/NXReuse
3) I still cannot see in the Reuse Library, in the Search group, pull down button "Index Search-On".
How to solve this problem, how to have the indexer available.
Solution
With the start of SPLM Documentation server 2.0 there has been a change in the
structure. SolR is now running as a separate service under Windows.
The current default that is set up by SPLM Documentation 2.0 is:
http://localhost:8282/tdoc/nx/10/nx_help/#uid:index
http://localhost:8283/solr/NXReuse
So when the default ports are used the entry in the Customer Defaults --> Reuse
Library --> Index Search --> Index Search Server
Should be: http://localhost:8283/solr/NXReuse
